Jayden Daniels Clears Concerns Over Elbow: “Perfectly fine”

Former LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels may be the second player selected by the Washington Commanders in the 2024 NFL Draft. He hopes to hear his name called early. But this past week, a photo of Daniels’ that went viral sparked some questions regarding a certain body area.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media utilized this shot on social media to identify which clubs will visit with Daniels on his pro day.

As you can see, Daniels’ right elbow appears to be off. The quarterback addressed the problem that was trending on social media on Friday.

NFL fans quickly began to question Daniels’s whereabouts when a photo of his throwing arm went viral. As he threw in a couple pictures, fans were fixated on how his elbow appeared.

Daniels’ elbow seemed to be jutting outward from the rest of his arm in photos.

However, Daniels dispelled any misunderstandings over his elbow on X.

“my elbow is perfectly fine .. stop the cap (lies)!!” he wrote on the social media platform.

Regardless of the issue or not with Daniels’ elbow, it had no impact on his performance. This past season, after dominating both on the ground and via the air, the Arizona State transfer was awarded the Heisman Trophy.

He led all FBS quarterbacks in yards per attempt (11.7), yards per carry (8.4), and total yards per game (412.2) in addition to recording the best passing efficiency in a season (208.0) in FBS history.

Daniels, Caleb Williams, and Drake Maye are thought to be three of the best quarterbacks available in the 2024 NFL draft class. Although Williams is generally predicted to go to the Chicago Bears with the first overall pick, there has been discussion regarding whether Daniels or Maye will be the second quarterback off the board.
